1973 Harley Sportster Xlch
I have a 1973 Ironhead harley sportster what is the differance between a xlch and a xlh?

Actually both the first 2 answers are correct. In the early years the XLCH was more of a competition model and had hotter cams and a magneto ignition. The XLH hae standard battery ignition and was more “streetable”. Some say H stood for Highway and CH stood for Competition Hot. In later years (like yours) the only difference is the H has electric start and the CH is kick only.
