Someone please tell me the main difference between a Harley Softail and Dyna Glyde? (Why is dyna $ 2K cheaper)?
I'm comparing Standard Softail and Dyna Super glide. Apart from the look and the hidden crisis in the Softail – I'm trying to figure out why dyna is $ 2000 cheaper?
Both bikes are very good. I own both. The Softail has the appearance of the old rigid frames so you do not see the rear shocks on the side. On the otherhand Dyna shows the rear shocks. The Dyna uses a rubber-mounted engine while the engine Softail uses a balanced fund. The result is less balanced engine vibration at speeds lower, but the Dyna is a softer bike at high speeds. The reason you're noticing the difference of $ 2,000 bridges between the Softail and Dyna is the packages. Chromium only comes from the factory, you will pay. The 2006 models had 88 and CI engines are 96 ci 07. Now for Softail and Dyna have 2007La Transmissions 6-speed, but speed was only 06 in May.
