What is the value of a limited edition Harley Davidson?
I have a numbered limited edition Harley. It is a 2003 Sportster 883, Edition 100th anniversary with special badges. It has a complete custom package Screaming Eagle on it. It has a custom paint job with flames fading from white to red, a double seat with sissy bar willie skull and the pins of the flame. It is numbered in the tank, # 75, 500. I can not find anything remotely like it much as I can find. It has just under 1600 original miles in excellent condition. I want to assure properly, not only the price for a plant operation of 883 athletes. Any ideas?
I hate to burst your bubble, but its value due to unfavorable market on bikes at this time, it is worth around $ 7500 MAX. And this is only because of any fact that improved performance. Despite its 100 anniv edition (and I guess custom factory paint), BRAND 1200 NEW mounted rubber, goes for $ 10k. I know all well, actually, there are at least 12-15k on it, but the market, Wise $ 7500 $ max. If I were you, because is a limted (Custom Factory??) I would take it to a HD dealer and have appraised for replacement value and documented for your insurance company. This is the only way your co ins, is believed to be worth.
