Can harley davidson rubber mount sportster of an engine is a pre 2004 model? If so, it is expensive?
Harley Sportster Rubber mounted engine in 2004, but I am looking to buy a pre 2004 model. I'm worried about the vibration and to know whether it is feasible to take to a shop and have them rubber mount engine. If possible, how Much would I be looking to spend (rough estimate)?
Unfortunately … NO, can not mount a pre-04 sports rubber. The only way to do is to use the engine to make a complete custom built bike frame using a rubber mounted aftermarket, the total work would cost more you are paying by Deportivo, around $ 15k if you want to do well. It is known that rigid support high definition will rock, but it is NOT THAT BAD !!!!…. Have you ever ridden a sports Evo? … They are actually a less vibrant HD bikes. I've met countless people over the years that have steered away from HD because of this myth, but once you finally mounted one, most were surprised that the vibration was so bad at all. If the bike is a holdover adequate and the sense of service …. and not just an occasional oil change, which will last longer than most imports.
