charge a 2004 harley super glide sport battery?
I need to jump start a 2004 Harley Davidson Super Glide Sport. But cannot get the cover off the battery case. Any suggestions?
There are two bolts that hold the battery tray in place; one beside the battery on the left side, another that points up toward the seat. Loosen those, and the cover lift up from tabs on the bottom, and swings out and off. I added a battery tender with the quick disconnects, now I just pull the cable from under the seat, no messing with the cover.
