The first thing you do is to go get a factory service manual(about 60-75 bucks, but worth every cent) for your bike.While your at the dealer getting the manual buy an oil filter.If they sell Aimsoil,Lucas or Mobil 1 V Twin oil get 5 quarts of that too.You don’t need 5 but it’s good to have some extra on hand.Then go start reading that manual.It will save you a ton of money over time by teaching you how to do simple maintenance on your bike instead of paying a shop for labor.
