How to remove the battery on a 2005 Harley 883 Sportster low?
I need to have my battery on my sportster removed and charged, I have tried everything I know to take it off the bike but nothing sweems to work. I need to know how to remove the battery without having to remove so much of the bike. I was able to remove the positive wires but unable to get to the ground wire. Please help me.
Just a thought or two here.Always remove the negative cable first and replace it last.If that’s your original battery replace it.5 years is about the best you can hope for.You can charge the battery in the bike with no problem.And consider getting a trickle charger with pigtails that attach to your battery terminals.A battery will last much longer if you keep a maintenance charger hooked up to it when the bike is sitting.
