how to install HID kit for Harley Davidson Sportster XL 2009 Nightster?
"I tried to install, but the original hole in the back of the lighthouse is too small for the connectors hid kit ….. please help!
Send a link to the kit you have? Nobody will be able to help unless we know what you have. Or at least tell us what you have, the brand and the game #. With a bit of information that may be able to help. Edit: Without knowing what kit you have, you may have to splice into the existing 3-wire for the light bulb exchange. If it's just a matter of running wires through the house, you may be able to use a piece security cable … push it through the rubber grommet for cables stock bulb, use that to pull the wires through the grommet HID. You may have to drill a hole in the box and install a grommet in it, putting HID cables through the ring. But as I said, can help you better if we know what we have. IMPORTANT NOTE! is the stock 3-way bulb socket connector is still used with HID lights ????……. anything above the stock 55/60 watt generate heat high enough to melt the plastic socket and the wiring short ……. Be careful with !!!!……..
