I getting ready to buy chrome hand controls for my Harley Davidson. What is a quality/cheap alternative to buying the $500 HD controls?

Buying HD stuff isn’t a rip off! Paying retail for it is a ripoff!
When I used to ride Harleys, I always bought my parts used from ebay. I remember buying a passenger hand grip for my old Roadking. I think they are something like $120 from HD. I got mine for $15.00 and $5.00 shipping. I got a passenger backrest for the same bike at about 30% of new, and then the seller threw in a bunch of other stuff for free.
I just got all new brake pads for my GSXR, a tool kit, a factory manual, and two sets of headlights for $20.00 total! That’s about $250.00 worth of stuff!
I have never gotten ripped off.
