Hi. Can anyone suggest an alternative supplier for chrome oil filters for Harley Davidson ?
I’m paying $ 20 at the Harley dealer for one now and I average 2 oil changes a month in prime time with all the riding I do .Retail outlet or on line -source will do as I reside in Ontario , Canada . Thanks in advance riders , jj
Even though they are more expensive I always use Factory H.D filters. H.D. filters have a consistent 40 micron screen and with other brands you can’t be sure what the rating is.
The micron rating effects the speed at which the oil can move.
If you buy “plain wrap” filters ,be sure they are to OEM specs.
You can get inexpensive ones here,(as little as $5.00)
