Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom, is it possible to install crotch rocket sliders, instead of crash-bars?

I don’t particularly care for the looks of the big chrome crash-bars sticking out and ruining the appearance of my HD Sportster, (looks like an old mans bike)
I was wondering if I could install “sliders” like they use on crotch rockets!
Sliders would work the same as crash-bars and make my HD Sportster look totally asume!
I am a former crotch rocket owner and its going to be fun owning a HD, I can pick on and harrass the rice burners!

Jack, you are about to find one of the mysteries of HD ownership, making the bike ‘yours’. The only limits to modification in most instances, is imagination and the ol’ wallet. If ya got the bread, almost anything is possible. I tell you though, I am a true believer in those “ol’ man” bars. I ain’t no spring chicken, but when I got hit by a Durango on my Springer, I sure was glad I had em. Think about why they are there, without them, I probably would have lost my leg, or worse. Instead I was able to crawl out from under my bike and ride to the hospital to get treatment for some rash.
And, during the colder months, those ‘elephant ears’ sure do come in handy(EEs are leather or vinyl covers for the bars that can help keep you dry and/or warm)
