I have a Harley Davidson, lost of chrome, what is the best way to wash it and polish chrome??
I have a 99 Heritage Softail Classic and this is what I do.
Just using the regular water hose I spray the bike for several minutes to rinse off and debri that may scratch when I wash it. I just use the Armor All wash they have at Auto Zone and the wash mit they have. After it is washed, I rinse it for several minutes then I use my leaf blower to dry it and it also keeps the water spots off. I then use wax on the painted surfaces(Turtle Wax) seem to do just a good job as the $25 stuff. While the wax is drying(in the shade) Auto Zone also sell a quick detail spray, I use it on all my chrome. When I done with the chrome, I use a soft rag and wipe off the wax, then use my leaf blower to remove any wax dust that is on the bike.Mine looks great and I didnt spend a $100 bucks on the expensive stuff.
