How much is my 1974 Harley Davidson worth?
I have a 1974 Harley Davidson, been changed from soft tail to hard tail, chrome head light,monkey bars,rims, has a solo seat, lots of custom made parts. Has a 1000 cc engine.
This style of bike has a specific market. Some folks like “old style” or “old school” choppers and this would probably fit into that catagory. What you might do is go to Ebay Motors and see if you find any “customs” similar to your bike, with similar custom offerings, i.e. hard tail, engine size, mileage and condition, custom chrome, etc. The other option would be to take it to a custom fabricating shop and have them give you a ball park appraisal. Not a trade in appraisal, just for what amount would they consider reselling a bike like yours. There would need to be something really special for the bike to be worth significantly more than what a 1974 Softail with a 65 CU IN engine. Without seeing it up close and personal, that’s about all I can tell you. Hope this info helps!
