A quick look at the history of Harley Davidson
The beginning
Harley Davidson is one of the most famous motorcycle manufacturers in the world. They were born in America, deriving from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with the first motorcycle produced in 1905. Believe it or not Harley Davidson was one of the two major manufacturers survived the Great Depression, which actually destroyed most of the companies in that period of time.
Of course, survive the Great Depression was an achievement in itself, and what the owners of HD did not realize at the time that had just been tough patch of business ever experience. This no doubt has them allowed to be prepared for anything in the future and also to defend against potential competitors who thought they could invade your space on the market.
The company was developed by William S. Young Entrepreneur Harley. At the age of 21 years, decided that he had the knowledge and the actual ability to build a premium machine. He began to develop plans for a prototype machine, starting the engine and from there, Harley Davison was born the long run!
The Turning Point
The 50 was a big turning point for the company. The problem was that in 1952, the U.S. Tariff Commission decided they were not doing enough in the sale of imported motorcycles. They put a 40% tax on the machines possible, which means your image will eventually be reduced to what was almost a decade ago. Of course, it was not long before the company were back on the track and in a few years, the image produced by Harley brand is used in a wide range based gangster film finally restored its original image.
The company has always prided itself in producing fabulous machines, both so that there are hundreds of groups and clubs devoted to the ownership and leadership of these cruises final. This is mainly due to the fact that customers have provided an outlet unique, with all its machines are heavyweight cruisers over 750cc.
Of course, things were not always so cut and dry for the manufacturing giant motorcycles. At one point it was like an invasion of the Japanese motorcycle market. Japanese companies were offering a wide range of machines in a fraction price. Luckily for Harley Davidson, the quality of the machines imported was much lower than that fall out on their production lines.
As mentioned above, people who ride these bikes are not people who enjoy the freedom of using a motorcycle. In fact, it is much more than that, people who are loyal to the Harley Davidson brand and enjoy the fact that they have a raw machine. Your brand is so great that licenses its logo is about 5% of companies annual earnings it's really awesome!
So what bikes do they produce?
Over time, Harley Davidson have chopped and changed his area distribution to ensure only the best motorcycles available worldwide from its dealers. Some of the most popular models include the Street Glide Electra Glide Classic, Electra Glide Standard, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited and Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Of course, it depends on what the rider is then as different machines are designed for different purposes.
The brand HD enthusiasts all know that this is not a mark to be confused with the speed and adrenaline. Instead, the brand focuses on the production of customer machines to your exact specifications, allowing them to enjoy freedom a motorcycle, but at the same time, be incredibly proud of the machine of your property.
Harley Davidson – The Conclusion
This has shown that high definition has stood the test of time by producing machines that are specifically meet the needs of its customers and needs. They have been around for a while and seems to be the premium motorcycle production for many years to come!
