Harley Davidson Fat Bob Used
motorcycle sizes help please?

I'm new to bikes and wonder what size bike (especially Harley Davidson) would be appropriate for someone my size. I'm 6'3 "and weighs 340 pounds. I'm looking to pick up a used bike because it will be cheaper. The power of the bike does not matter. A lot of tips I'm looking at states that new users should begin with a smaller bike. I do not want something that is going to be super bike is sooo uncomfortable or small for someone my size. Nor do I want a bike that will reach a top speed of a whopping 30 mph trying desperately to carry 340 pounds! I was thinking the custom of 1200 or the Fat Bob. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I read somewhere that half of all purchasers of new Harley Davidson are total novices or horse, or return to motorcycling after 20-30 years (raising a family, no doubt). And I wondered why would a true total noobs big and heavy bike challenge. Well then a friend of mine was interested in buying one, and she asked me about them. I had never ridden one, so I suggested a rental for a day and travel around it. The bike I rented was a Heritage Softail, perhaps bigger, heavier bike Harley ever made. Seven hundred pounds! 1600cc! I was surprised at how easy it was to ride a bike! The bike has a low seat and low center of gravity and it was incredibly easy to use. (No is a good bike handling, but easy to handle). I can not get used to cruise seating position, with feet out in front of you. I feel like if you were sitting in a hole with his feet in the air. But that's just a matter of what you are accustomed. The Harley is not a sport bike at all, and taking into account the enormous size of the engine is not particularly hot. But five minutes the beast taught me everything I needed to know about the "cruise" mentality – A relaxed, relaxed driving style. It is very stable and comfortable at high speed, even though it took his old sweet time getting there. 8 ^) From fact is so stable and smooth-riding is almost boring. And a bike of this size is certainly not going to have trouble carrying their weight.
