Is a Harley Davidson Softail Crossbones or a Fatboy good as a starter bike?
60 some horsepower? Low seat height? Relaxed steering geometry? They may be a little heavy, but you would probably be fine on any Harley cruiser. I like the Harleys that aren’t for poseurs though. The Dyna is a great basic motorcycle that isn’t trying too hard. The non-custom versions of the Sportster at the same. I am also a fan of the E-glide Standard. They are all a little expensive for what you get, but they are still good basic bikes.
