Harley Davidson Fatboy Gears?
I saw a video on youtube of a Harley Fatboy and when the gear switch came into view it looked like there were 2 gear levers, one at the top of the footrest and one at the heel…
I ride a motorbike myself but I have no idea what was goin on with that harley…
I had the heel-toe shifter, My boots are to big, so I had to remove the heel part. The reason for the heel-toe shifter, is because of the foot boards. You can’t angle, your foot down. To get your toe under the shifter. Unless you raise, the shifter upwards. To get your toe, under it. This also changes, the way you shift. Instead of rocking your foot, like on a peg. You have to raise your toe, from you heel. That motion is a lot smaller and takes more effort, to do. This puts a lot of strain, on your lower leg.
It’s a lot easier, to lift your heel, than your toes. So Harley put, a heel shifter on bikes with foot boards.
