martini is the lil girl I never had..she goes everywhere I go even the crossing guard at my sons school knows martini, same goes for the cornerstore. The best thing about my all black kitten, Martini, she loves our ‘outings’ especially riding in my leather jacket when my husband and I take our ’93 softail(Harley Davidson)for a spin around town. She loves the roar of the pipes and of course all the attention that goes along with ridin on a hog! She is my bestfriend, and she knows it too!So why is a dog a man’s bestfriend and not a cat anyway?

I think the ‘man’s best friend’ thing is pretty much based on timing.

Humans have kept dogs ever since prehistoric times, whereas cats didn’t become pets until the time of the Phairo’s.

I own 3 cats (it just rectently became 2) and a dog, and even though I love all of them equally, I have to say that my 17 year old cat Maggie who passed away just two weeks ago was probably my ‘best friend’ out of them all.
