Is the man-bag a yay or nay?

All right, so I have a messenger bag, otherwise known as “man-bag,” or more disparagingly, “man-purse.” I’ve never gotten slack about it before, but a couple friends of mine have started razzing me a bit about it. It’s not purse-like, it’s just raggy, beige bag with a shoulder strap. I’ve heard guys in Europe have been sportin’ the man-bag for years. What do you all think? I’m definitely not metrosexual, I prefer blue jeans and my Harley Davidson boots. The school backpack and the briefcase are too square for my style; is the man-bag such a bad thing?

It more about what you do with it than the bag its self.

If you keep you wallet and key it and carry it every were.
Then it a purse.

If you have you laptop and book in it and use it like a backpack
then its fine.
