1997 Harley davidson ignition?
Does anyone know what type of system on a 1997 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail ha. I think we have VDO but the resources I have before me at the moment only the list back to 98. Oh and please no stupid answers for points. either you know or not.
I'm not sure who made the pre-98 firing HD … I'll get back to you on that …. The Magnavox Fire V-III system was used in all Sportster (with the exception of the 1200 Sportster Sport model) 98-03. VDO made the Sportster Sport on for 1200 of 98-03, 99-03 all Carbed TC88 ignitons Kimball made for all 04-to Carbed ignitons in systems injection were integrated into the Delphi ECM EDIT :….. I searched online to no avail. Which is now considered "the first models" in MMI, I just went through the latest models of a few months ago, having no principles … were late-model Evo, when I went through in 91, although the blade was too early then some of the old school trainers still considered so late.
