I am looking at buying a Harley-Davidson FLHTC that has 40k miles. Is this too many miles, will I have problem
Bike has 40k miles.
It would be a straight up trade for a 2000 Softail Deuce that is customed out and has a full HD warranty until Feb 2009. My bike has 15k miles.
The FLHTC is sweet looking with all blacked out parts.

Anything can happen at any mileage on any brand bike, but at 40k, that bike still has loads of miles left in it. Being a dresser, you know it hasn’t be drag raced and has probably lived a rather sedate life. I bet you have an easy 40-60k left in it.
