how much does 1998 Harley-Davidson cost? ?

1998 Harley-Davidson XL-1200C Sportster, one of my friends is selling his in pretty good condition for 3500 bucks. Is it a good buy or can I get him to go lower

That is a very good price for a ’98, I would be more concerned about why so cheap, spend the hundred bucks and have it checked thoroughly before deciding. Why would you want to ride around on a souped up shop compressor anyway? get a good set of wrenches.
