Can I start out on my Harley-Davidson?
Ok.. so my grandfather passed away about 4 years ago and left me his 92′ heritage softtail classic. its a big cruiser as you all know already.
I have ridden a dirtbike a couple of times and i plan on taking a riders saftey course. I will get the bike fully inspected, tires changed, oil changed, everything it needs before i ever think about getting on it.
im 6’1 240 lbs so im a pretty big guy for a big bike. Is it reasonable for me to start out on something this big. or should I resort to a sportster or something to start out on. *i really dont want to spend money on a bike i will ride and then put away forever*
You will do fine, you sound like you have your head on and a Heritage is a good ride.
