Goldwing ABS …? To achieve this .. or not?
All, I'm looking at dumping my 04 Harley Dyna and go with a 08 Goldwing. If your curiosity, fully Dyna sux on the road, little power, no room in the bag, not fear, etc … The Goldwing is simply a better bike. Period. Anyway, does anyone have any experience Goldings with ABS? Should I get or not …?? Thanks!
I've never ridden a Goldwing with or without ABS, but I ride a BMW without it. In later years, my Motorcycle (series K) has ABS. Anyone who has traveled both ABS and non-ABS K bikes said that ABS is a must-have, even if you just use their full potential once. It's your life, why not do everything possible to safeguard? These systems are tested – and if it helps to stand the next time Bambi runs in front of you cruise weekend, I'd say the ABS is paid for themselves.
