2000 will be a softail oil operating temperature test strip Dyna 2000?
I have a 2000 dyna convertible harley …. preparing to leave on a trip to through some pretty hot and I wanted to pick up a dipstick Temp … We have seen many on eBay, but those who are analoug meters (my preferrence) say they are for a big twin softail 2000 until …. I've seen the guys for $ 50 digital … but if I can get a kind of analogue of $ 20 then I'll be happy …. just want to make sure the oil dipstick $ 20 temp work on my dyna … any help would be appreciated. N no will. His Dyna has the oil tank under the tranny and it takes a longer rod that does.You Softail would be better spending the money on a good thermostatically controlled oil cooler.Twin heated as cameras and a cooler of good will lower your oil temperature enough that you need not worry about it.
