Gas leak in the oil reservoir?
I have a Harley Dyna Low Rider 1997, I took a walk and when I got home there was oil blowing underneath the bike is not exactley sure where it came from. Could be as simple as having a covered container to float in my carb?. Any advice for My next step would be appreciated. I have 18,000 miles on it and never had a problem before. What I can do about it?
If there was gas in oil the most likely culprit would be a faulty fuel valve or may have been at rest for a while with the gas on. Gas will make its way into your cylinder with the carburetor is too much gas in it and go into the bottles through the intake ports then leak their past piston rings. 99% of the time this is what is wrong.
