Harley Softail Dyna tube vs pipe?
Does anyone know of any kind of modification can be done to make them fit Softail pipes in a dynamic? There are tons of cool pipes for Softail, but very few for Dynas so I was wondering if there might be some kind of adapter to work?
The two differences are related to jack off and reassembly. If you have front, no problems with the pins, if you make midrange that the pipeline will not run on your pegs.You can usually tell at a glance a picture in the catalog. As for mounting the rear, a bit of 1.4 plate Aluminum is like magic, easy to work and pretty polished. You can make your own adapter plate easily. My girl friend has FXR Softail Vance and Hines pipes on it and my dog has Sportster Dyna pipes in it. There are 360 photos on my blog if you're interested.
