Electrical problem FXSTC Harley Davidson?

I have a 91 Softail Custom Harley …. me and my friend changed the rear tail light and rear flashing lights, and by doing so we had some wire sodden together to signal a right turn. Well, my signal to turn left out a couple of weeks later. Then my brother, I noticed the tail light was not working, the other day …. and on my way home to his place where he was haulin 'a $ $ down the road and when I hit the shines that killed my entire lighthouse .. scaring the shit out of me when I turned my flashlight shines .. returns … And when I stop my dims lighthouse. But my turn signals in front to stay bright and a great job. I do not think the battery is wats up …..?

This is one of those times that you should only start again. Get a wiring diagram of a manual and see what is connected and that all circuits of those affected have in common (if anything). Then you can start to draw on which you are taking the short circuit. Also, make sure it is shrink any joint. I recently saw a "how to" article saying that the cables must be soldiered then a fence-in cable splice should be slid over and put. too. All this need, one or two layers shrink wrap. I do not know if that's an exaggeration, but I can try next time I have to add an accessory or something to fix. Just take your time. Electrical can be frustrating, but if you're methodical, you'll find it.
