oil blowing out my air cleaner on my 1200 harley sportster. how can i avoid this happening?

it had never done it before until i went on a 500 mile road trip.

All Harleys are known for this problem. I have a 97 Fat Boy. The only time I really noticed it was on the highway or at high speed as well. There is a kit that you can get thru J&P Cycle that helps the breather put the oil back into the cylinder. I have not tried this myself but have been thinking about it. I have a K&N air filter on mine, so the original air filter box is no longer used. I attached a longer hose to the breather tube and routed it behind the motor and put a small crank case filter on the end. I know this just sends the oil to another place but most of it is caught in the filter.
