i need help troubleshooting my 2006 harley sportster custom speedometer doesn’t work?
HD Speedos are ELECTRONIC!!! HD hasn’t used cable driven speedo in almost 15 years!!!
What is the speedo not doing? registering speed and milage?
The first thing to check would be to make sure the speedo sensor is plugged in. It will be a 3-wire, triangular connector under the seat, red, black and green wires.
Next thing is to run the on-board diagnostics that are built into the speedo.
