Will a stock ’05 harley sportster seat fit a ’04 sportster 1200?
I just upgraded to my very first harley, but unfortunately it came with no manual and a single seat. Since this beast of a sportster is so powerful, everytime I gas it off the line, I fly back off the single seat and have now found it essential to buy bigger seat. I found a great deal on craigslist for a 2005 stock sportster seat and wanted to know if anyone knew if itwould fit a 2004 1200cc? and I wanted to test out this answer thingy.

Joel has it bang on, if the tank sizes are the same they’ll interchange. but if the donor bike has a 3.3 gal tank and your custom will have a 4.5 gal tank…. it won’t fit
