How many horsepower does a harley-davidson sportster XL1200X have?

KW? A? RPM

Not sure about new, but most of 1200 were something like 48 to 50 hp stock. The twins big these days are in the rear wheel hp range 64-68, depending on what engine. Do not let the low numbers to deter, I think the Sportster CV peak is something like 6,500 rpm, while the twins are great for around 5,000 rpm. High reving bikes with a smaller engine can make more peak horsepower, but that is often 8.500 to 10.500 rpm. More people spend more time on the rpm of less of 5,000 that make around $ 10,000. And when the high reving engines crawled to <4,000 rpm, fall headlong. If you go, you gotta slow down and revolutions out. HD, and especially the big twins have a lot of untapped horsepower. Change the exhaust cam and change the air filter and can easily get 80 horsepower. Valves larger and more radical and a camera can come close to 100 hp. That's why HD dealers have for many a test in the workshop so you can see the real horsepower of getting the money you spent. Spending $ 1,000 for teams of high speed on a Japanese motorcycle and nervous has a lot of show, but very little to go further. You have bragging rights if you're at it. Spending $ 1000 on a hard drive and is something that will keep up with most of the traffic light to traffic light Japanese bikes.
