Go to the Sturgis motorcycle rally, what is the best place / price / parts?

Anyone know about the throttle saloon? What about the buffalo chip? I prefer to avoid the obvious tourist traps, but if it is full of all the hot girls and a good party going to let it go. But if there is something better at better prices than I would know. Also, how intense the police prescencia? Are they a real party murderer or a little more relaxed?

I love being in the Black Hills during the Rally weekend. There is no such thing as good prices, everything is marked Sturgis. Everyone has their own way of doing. For my money, the best way of being that one must have a dual sport bike and stay out of the way of the crowd. There are thousands of miles of paved roads, forest roads and trails in the mountains. Sometimes you need a paved road, but if you think a package of Harleys slow motion as a slalom course, then the traffic is not be a problem. Care, however, as there are many incompetent drunk drivers in crowds. I can spend a week there and just getting into Sturgis once, if that. The hill climb and races (original reason for the rally) remain a gas. It is also an opportunity to test some long bicycle rides could otherwise do not get to ride. Sturgis is nothing like the days of camping in the city park. Drinking on the street is no longer legal, and police enforce it. The atmosphere is more like to the State Fair with motorcycles. Families bring their children to walk the main street.
